Real Sociedad striker Carlos Vela has been subjected to transfer interest from the MLS.


The addition of new franchises to the MLS has led to a demand for the designated players. Carlos Vela is reportedly seeking a new challenge after having spent the last six years at Anoeta. He came to Real Sociedad as a €14 million signing from Arsenal in the summer of 2012. Since then, he has made more than 200 appearances for the Spanish club in all competitions. However, his importance at the club has diminished substantially in recent years.

The loss to Malaga meant they dropped to sixth position in the league, and the side would be happy to avoid a back to back loss this term.
