WENGER UNSURE ON VELA

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he is not looking at the possibility of deciding the future of on loan players like Carlos Vela and Nicklas Bendtner. Unlike in the previous seasons, Arsenal have a number of regular first-team players on loan at various clubs.

As the season approaches its end, there have been a number of rumours regarding the players on loan at various clubs. When asked about their futures, Arsene Wenger refused to comment on the speculation by saying that he will make a decision only at a later stage. This is unique because of the European Championships, but Wenger is not in a hurry to rush the deals.

Carlos Vela is one of the most prominent players, who is also regarded as one of the best talents in the game. The 22-year-old striker is on loan at Spanish club Real Sociedad after failing to get regular game time at Arsenal. He has been a hit at the Spanish club after scoring numerous goals this season, which has prompted speculation from the player and his agent that he might look at the possibility of staying with his current club. Arsenal will be short on strikers next season if top scorer Robin van Persie decides to leave the club, but Arsene Wenger is not in a hurry to look at the futures of on loan players.

"I have not decided anything yet. It will depend a bit on the structure of the whole team. I will sit down with them at the end of the season. You know have some restrictions because you are only allowed 25 players. Therefore you have to make decisions and choices that are of course linked with that. At the moment we have 34 players. I believe that many clubs are in this situation," he told Arsenal Player.
